Rainy Day Walk

I love rainy weather. I truly do. Living in Seattle didn't bother me one bit. Although, it doesn't compare to Spring rain in Utah. Especially with everything blooming as it is right now!

Life According to my iPod, pt. 3

Hannah, Ethan, Griffin, Josie and a few others were asked to judge the regional Drama competition for high schoolers. So for a day we were back at our old high school, good ol' Provo High. It was a very surreal day.
Hannah being cute.

Lingonberry Crepes! awwyeah.

blurry picture of a deer. I love those guys!

We were able to do the flowers the Habitat for Humanity's Fundraiser Breakfast again!
See the lovely flowers here.

Ethan and I ventured out and found this secret road by the lake that we'd heard tales of.
It was pretty neat and bumpy! Also, creepy. Half expected to find a dead body around one of the turns.

Life According to my iPod, pt. 2

I pulled my head scarves back out again and I feel a little like my sister when I wear them.

Hunger Games!! I was ever so pleased with the movie!
Usually, movie adaptations of loved-books are disappointing. But they stick so true to the book. There's even some things they do in the movie that I like better than the book.

Lemon + Salt= Magic!

I should have taken before and after pictures of my kettle.
Cause the difference is startling! It was so mucky before!

Calvin started teaching me how to longboard. I went longboarding once for a prom date.
I had the scratches to prove it in our pictures that night.

An owl was found on Campus. Isn't it so cute?!
I wanted to take it home and have it deliver my mail.
:)

We have a brand new science building at school and it's super nice!
Only took two or so years. Too bad I don't have any science classes.

Mark's chinese calligraphy teacher, whom I'm told is quite famous, came to Utah to visit him. I helped show him around since I'm quite a bit more familiar with the Provo area. He didn't speak any English, so Mark did the translating. It's always fun to see someone new so enamored with your surroundings when you've gotten so used to them. It makes me give it a fresh look and re-realize how beautiful the place I live is.

My hair got really long, and so I cut it...

The only place anyone should ever go to get their haircut is Shep's Salon in Provo.
I've been going there for 5 years. All of the designers are amazing. There's no such thing as a bad haircut when you go to Shep's.

I seriously have been a bad blogger, lately. Although really good at updating my flower blog, if you want to check out my creations of late. Anyway, here's the first installment of pictures from my life lately. (Note 'lately' is a relative term and in this case refers to any point in time within this semester)

Anthropologie Visits. Always delightfully painful.

May I introduce you to Franklin, the Gerbil. I made a friend in Mark's lab and throughout the semester I would go play with Franklin and de-stress. Franklin loves eating cardboard and sleeping in a pile.

There's also a blowfish in Mark's lab. I couldn't get him to puff up for the camera though.
I found a small, quiet park for reading.

Celebrated Mama's Birthday with red anemones reminiscent of our time in Germany.

And the richest chocolate cake you've ever had...

Angie & David got a bunny, Monte! It's the cutest thing I've ever seen.
